The Royal Dolphin Club

Usually called The Dolphin and situated at 1598 Oak Street in

Solvang, this club was the longest-running venue for teens in the

Santa Ynez Valley. Hosting the best bands of Santa Barbara

County, The Dolphin gained a reputation as an important venue

from 1965 to 1967 when it closed. Each weekend a different band

performed. Ernie and the Emperors, the Sharkais, Just Four,

and the Undertakers were just a few of the bands who played

here. Today, it is home of The Ranch Church.
